Second Grade has been working on a "Trip around Kansas". Students were able to learn about many places in Kansas, and pick a few of them for their "trip". Once finished with their project, they presented to their Cowboy Connection groups about the places they want to visit!

Dane G. Hansen brought the Zoo to You educators from Rolling Hills Zoo to West today! Kids were all smiles as they explored “What’s Buggjng You?”Thank you Miss Lynn and Miss Teagan! We had a blast!🦂🪲

We had another MAGICAL night at our 6th Annual Polar Express Night! Fun was had by all! A big thank you to the West Site Council, Garcia’s, our local face Painters, Santa Claus, SCCS board, HALO and especially the amazing staff at West Elementary! You Rock! #westisbest

2nd graders have been working on growth mindset. They watched Chicken Run and discussed growth mindset and how the chickens never gave up! After designing an escape machine to escape the farm they acted out their escape. The prized main attraction was missing from the Circus. They created a missing person poster for Rocky the Flying Rooster.

Pie Sales Important Message: Some items are back ordered. If your student reached up to prize (L) that will be sent to us after Thanksgiving.
