West Elementary

It was a beautiful day at Sederstrom farm for our annual farm day! The kids got to learn about different farm animals and all the equipment. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this possible for our students!

This week we celebrate all of our amazing teachers! West Site Council is proving a lunch for them today as well as snacks throughout the week!

🎶 Let's go fly a kite! 🎶 First grade read The Kite from Days With Frog and Toad this week. Mr. Rudolph came with his huge kite...the kids LOVED it!! They also tested their own kite making skills to see if they could build one that flies. 🪁 🪁

Sherman County Early Childhood Center and Little Blessings Preschool came for a visit this morning. The incoming kindergarteners got to tour West, meet our Kindergarten teachers, have lunch with us and play on the play ground! We are looking forward to the 23-24 school year!!!🖤💛🤠🚌

✨ Firstie Art Gallery ✨ The first graders put together an art gallery for families to see. They spent the week studying different types of art and the process of creating art. The artists included artist statements describing their process. 🎨 Thank you to all that came! 😊

We are excited for Kindergarten Round Up 2023.

Our Kindergarten and T1 students had an amazing performance this evening. They had an amazing time sharing "The Beat is the Heart of Music". We are very sad about the technical difficulties with the streaming! But here are lots of cute picture!
