We would like to give another SHOUT OUT to our North Elementary STUDENTS and PARENTS!!! They have been doing a GREAT JOB with our school pick-up but we wanted to send out a reminder as we want to be as SAFE as we possibly can.
Parents we would like to have you pick your students up at the following locations:
The 3rd grade will be picked up on the West of the building on Walnut street.
The 4th grade will be picked up on the North side of the building on 2nd street.
The 5th grade will be picked up on the East side of the building on Arcade street.
The 6th grade will be picked up on the South side of the building on 4th street.
If you have multiple students in our building, the students should be picked up where your oldest student would be picked up. An example would be, if you have a 3rd and a 5th grader, you would pick the students up on the East side where the 5th grader would be picked up.

The first full week is starting and parents are doing a GREAT JOB with morning drop off. Please remember to use the drop off lane to help with our student's safety in the mornings. We are excited for the 2022-23 school year.

5th grade students are in the process of reading the book “Refugee” by Alan Gratz. It is an amazing story of 3 different children who have to leave their homes and escape their countries for safety. It puts into perspective what refugees have had to go through throughout history and are still going through today.
This morning, our students were very lucky to have the opportunity to Zoom with a real refugee who had to escape from her home country of Syria. What an engaging and eye-opening experience for all!
