ICYMI, Wednesday was a great day for FFA Food Competition Team, who took 4th overall team in dairy quality and 1st overall team in food science. In milk quality Jaron Smades was 13th individual. In food science, Rhett Ihrig took 16th, Kaelyn was 4th and Sarah WON THE CONTEST!


🍁🚜 The 2024 Fall Clean Up is in the books! Special shout out to the city of Goodland crews who worked with us so well throughout the day. We would not have near the impact on our community without them!🍁🚜


Just a reminder that due to weather, GHS Fall Cleanup has been moved from Wednesday, November 13th to THURSDAY, November 14th! We will see you tomorrow!

GJHS Leadership in Action students presented a quilt they made in class to Senator Rick Billinger as part of the VFW's Quilt program. The quilt will be hung in the State House in Topeka in the Senator's office. Leadership in Action's class is continuing to Promote Patriotism in the school and community
through various service projects!


Goodland JH Wrestling will be wrestling a dual here in Goodland vs. Colby on Thursday the 14th. Matches will begin at 3:30 Mountain Time.

🎺BIG NEWS! 🎺 We are thrilled to share that we've been awarded a $10,000 grant to fuel our next steps as a Goodland band! We couldn't be more excited for the doors this will open for the over 150 band students under Mr. Whisenants direction!
We would like to thank the Sherman County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation, and the Dane G. Hansen Foundation for making this grant possible!


The Foundations of Early Childhood Development class finished their unit on toddler development last week and put what they learned into action! The students planned a day that included activities focused on gross and fine motor skills, and puppet shows highlighting social and emotional development, and then invited a couple of toddlers from the community to come have some fun!


BREAKING NEWS! All 12 students that auditioned on Sat. Nov. 2 at Hays High School were selected for the NW KMEA Honor Choir! What an accomplishment!
