As a result, not all students have the newest reports available yet. We will send a new alert once we have confirmation that all reports are posted.

GJSHS Art Club and Woods department collaborated to create a new painting for Chambers Park.!The woods department measured, built, and sanded a new wood frame. Art Club came up with a design inspired by Vincent Van Gogh and brought the design to life over several months. The painting represents Goodland with a starry night, a sunflower field, a wheat field, and a silhouette of Goodland’s large easel with the Van Gogh Sunflower painting. Art Club plans to repaint more of the giant paintings in the parks as a community service and beautification project!

Hello Goodland Nation! I would like to extend my deepest apologies for the sub-par quality of the Goodland Nation t-shirts this year. Art club tried a new process for producing shirts this year and the results are not what we had hoped for. We have experienced many trials and tribulations with screen printing, but learned a lot!
The ink appears to have not been properly cured, and may fade significantly in the wash. We have found that heat setting the ink at 320 degrees prevents most of the fading. If your shirt has not been washed, please bring it to the art room to be heat pressed. If your shirt has already been washed, we will do our best to make sure you are given a new shirt. Shirts should be turned inside out, washed in cold water, and allowed to air dry.
In the future, we will go back to what works and ensure that the quality of shirts is what you know and love. Our intention is always to put a Goodland shirt in the hands of every student, and that won't stop anytime soon. At GJSH, we strive to learn from our mistakes everyday, and this is no different!
