Here at West we are the foundation of kids learning to read! Our phonics curriculum is Pathways to Reading.

Second Graders have each been planning a "Fall Festival" for a fun PBL activity! The second grade teachers used those ideas to provide them with an actual Fall Festival that they got to enjoy on Friday. They got to pick a pumpkin to paint, get fall themed temporary tattoos, play games, and "bob" for apples followed by a caramel apple bar! Lots of fun was had by all!

Week of 10-19-23 WEST ELEMENTARY STAR STUDENTS.
Our K-5th grade students enjoyed Wichita Children's theater performance of The Ugly Duckling brought to us through a Dane G. Hansen grant. Thank you to USD 352 transportation department for busing us to the Max!
