Parents/ Guardians- Thank you for helping the ladies in the front office by sending and/or bringing doctor's notes in when your student is absent. By doing this, you are keeping your child eligible for Final Opt-outs at the end of the semester using their attendance, excusing them for practices and games, and helping them from being reported as truant. ICYMI: Cowgirl tennis earned a second place team finish yesterday in their home invitational! Second place individual medals for Addy (#1 singles) and doubles partners Kiara and Ashlyn (#2 doubles)! Thanks to everyone who came out to support! 🎾
Goodland moved to 1-1 with a 47-6 win vs Burlington. They will be in action next Friday the 20th at Oakley at 6:00 mst.
GOODLAND COMMUNITY!!!! The Goodland Cowgirl tennis team is hosting our varsity tournament TOMORROW starting at 8am. We also will have a special guest for lunch. Los Tacos Gordos will be available from 11am-1pm!
A quick reminder for any who attend:
You are free to clap at the conclusion of a point as long as your team won from a good/solid shot (we don't clap when an error is made by an opponent). This is different than most other sports but when you have fans so close to the action it does really help the girls when people are as respectful as possible.

Burlington will not be able to play JV Football on Monday the 16th. Instead, the High School JV team will be traveling to Norton for a 4:00 Mountain Time Start.

GJHS’ Leadership in Action class is promoting Patriotism as one of their class goals. Yesterday on Patriot’s day, the students worked with 1st Graders from West Elementary on what patriotism can look like. The class also had representatives help with the Kiwanis Flag Project, and will complete a quilt before Veteran's day to be donated to a Veteran.
