A student at West Elementary has earned a certificate for achieving well in the Core 5 Lexia Program. This is part of the Kansas Reading Initiative that is being used for K-5 students in Goodland. Goodland High School would like to congratulate four of our students who participated in the KSHSAA State Piano Contest this past weekend in Hays, KS. Berkley White, Brianna White, and Ryleigh Paxton received a top rating of I. Kelsey White received a II rating. Nancy Shores served as accompanist for all four students. ANNOUNCEMENTS/NEWS The High School LIbrary was the recepient of a second gift at the January 27 Board of Education meeting: $500.00 from the Hollister-Golden Trust.
