Information on the Drafting Department

The Drafting department is housed in the technology building south of the high school. The instructor is Mr. Myers. There has not been a drafting team at GHS since the early 1980's and it has come back to life and brought up to date by the arrival of Mr. Myers as the drafting and woods instructor for the 2009-2010 school year. Mr. Myers is hoping to spark interest in this department again and hopefully show a career path that many of the students at GHS were not aware of. Also Mr. Myers hopes his students learn the different fields of drafting and have fun participating in the contests through out the year.

Goodland High School Drafting Team Results from the
Western Kansas Technology Fair at Fort Hays State University

Medalist: Adam Myers for his 3D pictorial Drawing and also his
packet of House Plans. So he got 2 of the 6 medals handed out to the senior level.

Superior Ratings: Adam Myers (2 projects) Kayler Rietcheck, and Jason Cowan

Excellent Ratings: Gloria Bustillos, Zach Weber, Tanner Jones, Brian
