Community Facilities Meeting
This letter is a personal invitation for you to join us in one of our community input meetings that we plan to have in January and February. It is our intent to work with the community and seek their input on our next facilities plan. The Board of Education of USD 352 has been working towards a solution to our facility issues and has come up with a generic plan that we would like to share with the community before we go much further. I know myself and the BOE members have sought the opinions of individuals in conversation since the bond election last spring to seek a solution. Based on those conversations, we have put together a possible solution, but nothing has been set in stone, and before we move further we want to give the entire community an opportunity to have input. We really do want this to be the communities plan for the future of USD 352. Therefore, we would appreciate your involvement at this time.
We are going to host several meetings as listed below. The meetings will all follow the same format, so you only need to come to one meeting. In order to have an effective meeting, we plan to limit the number of participants at each meeting to 30. Therefore, we ask that you call the district office ahead of time to let us know you plan to attend so we can get you on the list. We hope by working with a smaller group we can have more in-depth conversation as we work towards a solution. If we need to add more meetings based on demand we will be happy to do that. The meetings will be facilitated by myself with possibly BOE members present but not all. No outside firm will be present at this time. All meetings will be held at the District Office, 1312 Main, Goodland.
Please pick from one of the following dates and times:
January 11th – 7:00 am January 31st – 4:00 pm
January 12th – 11:00 am February 6th – 8:00 am
January 23rd – 1:00 pm February 9th – 7:00 pm
January 25th – 5:00 pm
If you would rather I come to your organization, club, or workplace to meet with a similar size group, please call me and we will see what we can do. Thanks.
Sincerely yours,
